Last year, MSDW overhauled its approach to webcast marketing for Dynamics ISVs and partners. The idea was to improve one of our most productive lead-generation tools by ensuring it continued to optimize engagement with our audience. And as we had hoped, the changes have transformed the value that marketers realize from our program.
Since the update in late 2019, Dynamics ISVs are seeing a 70-80% increase in webcast leads! Here were the key changes in our approach:
- A shift from live broadcast webcasts to a “simulive” model that allows events to run multiple times in a single day while still giving audiences a chance to ask questions.
- Lead generation results that blend live event engagement, on-demand viewing, and continued content promotion. Our new approach allows ISVs to collect the on-demand webcast leads, via the MSDW video platform, for one month after their simulive session airs. Adding the focused on-demand element has enabled many ISVs to actually double their webcast lead count!
These “webcasts on steroids” have become the norm at MSDW, and our clients love it.
